Personalized Kids’ Shower Curtains

A kids’ shower curtain is the one thing in a bathroom that can be entirely theirs. Ours are printed to order on waterproof polyester, edge to edge, in nine sizes — and you can print the child’s name into the artwork. That is the part the shelf at Target cannot do.

What size shower curtain do I need?

This is the question that trips people up, because “standard” is not one number. Measure your curtain rod, not the tub. The curtain should be a little wider than the opening so it overlaps and water stays in. Most American bathtubs take the 72″×72″ square — if you are unsure, that is the safe pick. A narrow stall shower wants 36″×72″ or 48″×72″. If your rod sits high or you have a deep soaking tub, take an extra-long 72″×84″ so the hem does not stop short. We also print the in-between sizes — 60″×72″, 66″×72″, 69″×70″, 69″×72″ and 69″×84″ — because real bathrooms are rarely standard.

Put their name on it

Every design has a personalization box. Type a first name and we set it into the artwork before printing — not an iron-on patch, not a sticker, part of the print itself. It is the reason a kid who ignores the bathroom suddenly wants to be in it, and the reason these make good birthday and moving-house gifts.

Waterproof polyester, not vinyl

These are fabric, not plastic. High-density water-repellent polyester means no vinyl smell, no crackling, and no mildew film after a month. It dries quickly, keeps its shape after hundreds of showers, and goes in the washing machine when toothpaste inevitably happens. The print is vivid because fabric holds ink in a way a PEVA liner never will.

Hooks are in the box

The top hem has reinforced, stitched buttonholes built to survive a six-year-old yanking on them, and a set of standard C-hooks ships with every curtain. There is nothing else to buy — it hangs in about two minutes.

Match the rest of the bathroom

A curtain is the biggest surface in the room, so it sets the theme — and people search for the whole look, not just one piece. Once the curtain is up, the easy follow-ons are a matching character bath towel and a soft bath mat or rug in the same theme.
