Printable Party Food Labels & Food Tent Cards
A food table without labels is just a table with food on it. These are fold-over tent cards: print the sheet on card, cut each one out, fold it along the dashed line and it stands up on its own — no holder, no clips, nothing else to buy. Four cards to a sheet, and no print limit, so a long buffet costs the same as a short one.
The blank panel is the point
Every card has a blank panel in the middle, and it is left blank on purpose. Pre-printed labels only ever say "cupcakes" and "popcorn" — but a Minecraft party is not serving cupcakes, it is serving Creeper Cupcakes, and a Pokemon party is serving Poke Balls, not doughnuts. You write the food name yourself with a pen, so the labels say what you are actually putting out. Prefer not to hand-write them? Choose Customize product and we will print your food names into the artwork and email you the finished file within 24 hours.
Buffet labels, food signs, place cards — same card
Call them food labels, buffet labels, food tent cards or party food signs — it is the same fold-over card, and it does more than one job. Write a food on it and it labels the buffet. Write a child's name on it instead and it is a place card that tells everyone where to sit. Write "gluten free" or "nut free" on one and it does the job every parent quietly worries about. One purchase, printed as many times as the table needs.
How to print them so they stand up
Use white card stock, 65 lb or heavier — this is the one printable where paper weight really matters, because the card has to hold itself upright and copy paper will simply flop forward into the food. Print at 100% / Actual Size and untick "Fit to page". Cut along the outer edge, fold cleanly along the dashed line down the middle, and stand it in front of the dish. If you want a crisper fold, score the line first with the back of a butter knife.
Finish the table
Label the drinks with matching water bottle labels, send the guests home with printable goodie bags and a thank you tag, and put a personalized cake topper on the cake. Start at the beginning with the birthday invitations, or see the whole range on our printable party favors page.
